Primary Responsibilities

Strategic and planning

Optimize cost by enhancing performance through various controls such as reduction in manufacturing cycle time, machine capacity utilization, wastage reduction etc. and achieve the budgeted OTDIF targets with a special focus on FTR( First time right).
Core Functional

Ensure availability of Raw material on daily basis as per production plan.
Ensure shift productivity as per the production plan and setup controls to avoid excess and short production.
Follow the Autonomous maintenance Schedule to ensure optimum machine health during operation.
Ensure compliance of statutory and regulatory requirements including cGMP
Resolve in-process quality issues and guide the shift technicians accordingly.
Manage daily shift schedules and time-off requests.
Ensure that all machinery runs smoothly and assisting in the shipment of items.
Coordinate with stakeholders  upon machinery breakdowns in order to maximise machine uptime.
Ensure that internal delivery processes are adhered to support slitting time windows.
 Internal Processes

Prepare shift wise reports and circulate it to the stakeholders.
Coordinate with stores and respective departments for raw material availability.
Ensure timely communication to other stakeholders in case of any deviations from plan/quality requirements.
Ensure Implementation corrective actions on the shop floor to avoid repeat issues.
Support department lead in implementing various Kaizen projects.
Ensure implementation & compliance to production and related SOPs.
People development

Support the department lead for conducting engagement initiatives on the shop floor.
Evaluate associate’s performance and provide on the job training as and when required.
