  1. Job Objective

 

  • Co-ordinate and execute manufacturing activities of PAMK parts.
  • Resolve Quality related issues and carry out improvements in PQCDSM in shopfloor
  • Handle shopfloor activities,workman IR related issues
  • 5S/Lean Manufacturing/Kaizen/TPM/Six Sigma/Value stream mapping
  1. Primary responsibilities

 

Strategic and planning

  • Daily shopfloor planning,Man machine loading
  • Prepare load plan according to load given by PPC
  • Report daily production and target failure analysis to manager
  • Prepare load projection on key resources for timely action to avoid bottle neck
  • Maintain OTDIF and carryout load balancing to achieve the same

Functional

Core:

  • Carryout RRCA and prepare CAPA for rework/rejection
  • Understand and resolve technical issues before start of machining
  • Have good knowledge of machining process of VMC,HMC,5AXIS,VTL,Grinding,and conventional machining
  • Good knowledge of GD&T
  • Knowledge of cutting tools,holders,reamers and work holding devices
  • CAM programming knowledge and must have done VMC program for 3 axis job
  • Good knowledge of process parameters feed,speed,depth of cut and its impact on machining
  • Knowledge on various types of material used for machine building and also good knowledge on steels
  • Know how of Heat treatment and various stages of heat treatment.Heat treatment process like annealing,hardening,tempering
  • Surface treatment processes ENP plating,anodizing,blacking,buffing,lapping etc

Internal proceses

  • Good knowledge of SAP
  • Understanding of inter departmental activities
  • Understanding of Budget control and OT management
  • Maintain machine up time
  • Drawing reading ability and clear doubts to operator and elevate the same to Design and resolve the technical issues
  • Knowledge of 5S/Lean Manufacturing/Kaizen/TPM/Six Sigma/Value stream mapping

 

People development

  • Ability to train operators and guide them for process improvement
  • Motivate operators to do continuous improvement
  • Work with operators for doing RRCA and CAPA for reducing cost of poor quality
  • Ability to take interviews of new Operators and judge their ability
  • Able to provide on job training
