We have an opportunity in SciTech of a Head -NPD.

 

Job Objective

Strategic and planning

  • Daily activity management to ensure the micro-plan timelines are adhered to.
  • Use Company Standard Guidelines to ensure standardization in design.
  • Create internal checklists to ensure FTR in design.
  • Functional Core- Point of contact for SciTech Europe in the transfer of development projects, monitoring of the prototype production, coordinating, and executing alpha test trials
  • Internal process- Follow design gate process, Company Standards and internal ISO 9001 guidelines

People development

  • Identify self-learning needs and complete activities and trainings as per IDP (Individual development plan)
  1. Primary responsibilities
  • Disciplinary and functional leadership responsibility for department staff
  • Responsible for the implementation and manufacturing of prototypes based on concepts developed by SciTech Europe
  • Maintenance of master drawings under SciTech Europe guidance
  • Responsible for creating Bill of Materials (BOM) in SAP for new developments
  • Development of assemblies, machine parts, and components under ScitEch Europe guidance
  • Responsible for conducting and co ordinating the Alpha testing of the prototype machine

Level of Education

Degree in mechanical engineering or process engineering

Experience

8-10 years from pharma machine manufacturing & specificlally in solid dosage pharmaceutical equipment development (wet granulation, fluid bed drying, tablet coating).

Should be having experience of leading a team.
