Primary Responsibilities

Strategic and planning

Evaluating the need, competition mapping, gap analysis and prepare development proposal.
Strategizing the development work to capture future market through innovation.
Explore adjacencies
Guarding innovation through IP
Core Functional

Ideate and implement to develop sustainable, eco-friendly packaging solutions for pharma industry.
Able to conduct experiments, work with production team to scale up and study functionality of the product as per the intend including validation of the product at customers end.
Work with internal and external teams to make the work done.
Work with cross functional team such as Business development to create value proposition matrix and other techno-commercial subjects.
Keep the individual and the business updated on the global changes in terms of regulation, strategies, etc.
Provide technical support to internal and external customers on the new product development.
Support production, QA, Technical services in order to bring improvements in quality of product portfolio.
Filing Patent for new products developed.
Presenting work to internal and external stake holders

Internal Process
Prepare SOP’s, quality plan, documents related to processing (raw material specifications, PR, BOM), regulatory compliance, to handover new product process to production, Quality and technical services.
Prepare technical reports, application notes for the new products.
Prepare white paper/ technical Articles as per the need of marketing and business development.
People development

Provide technical product trainings to the concerned associates to enhance technical knowledge about new & existing products.

Key Result Areas

  • Adhere to project timelines as per the business need (each product development, project timeline shall be made available)
  • Adherence to the stage gate process while developing new projects.
  • Adherence to project timelines for new products development which are techno-commercially viable.
  • Ensure bottom line improvement as far as new products are developed.
  • Conducting periodic technical product trainings to the associates.
