Primary Responsibilities

Strategic and planning
•    Assure that Production gets defect free parts from Suppliers.
•    Continually work on rejection reduction initiatives.
•    Coordinate with CFT for hurdle free deliverables of In-coming Quality.

Functional
Core
•    Technically competent and proficient at understanding part level & assembly level drawing.
•    Well versed with productivity & quality improvement concepts like 7-QC tools, TQM, TPM, Kaizen, Six Sigma etc.
•    Strong Business Acumen 
•    Excellent written & verbal communication skills 
•    Solid working knowledge of MS office applications and should be well versed with the SAP.
•    Awareness about ISO 9001:2015
•    Basic understanding of quality management systems, Pharma quality standards (GLP, FDA, GMP), testing techniques, and processes in use with the ability to apply this understanding in routine situations.
•    Basic understanding of the production value chain of the related products
Internal process
•    Ensuring inward material clearance on timely basis.
•    Follow up with Purchase & Supplier for CA PA of rejected parts.
•    Coordination & driving CA PA with internal suppliers for defects, if any.
•    Tracking line rejections and closing the CA PAs from respective CFTs.
•    Driving kaizen & 6-S projects
•    Data analysis and data retrieval
•    IQC related MIS
•    Up-keeping QC instruments, calibration, identifying & purchasing new instruments.
•    Poka-yoke gauges / concepts development for mistake proofing.
•    IQC related QMS activities.
•    Supplier rejection reduction drives.
•    Supplier audits, process audits.
•    Coordination with Third Party Labs for material destructive testing.

People development
•    Training of plant associates, suppliers & associated CFT.
