Job Objective:
Maintain and improve the OTDIF of parts with reduction in OLR, Procurement lead time & material cost in order to achieve top line & bottom line target.
Primary responsibilities:
- Procurement of manufacturing component for Blister machine.
- Tracking entire Procurement Activities from MRP run to GIN.
- Responsible to develop responsive & capable supplier base by building strong alignment with Suppliers.
- Negotiation and cost reduction by value engineering methods
- Making PO and follow up with supplier to get material in time.
- Problem solving in those areas where we face the quality issues.
- Co-ordination with Assembly Department for resolving the day to day issues.
- Co-ordination with PPC and Design for better product procurement.
Functional Core:
- Awareness of manufacturing processes for Machining, Heat Treatment, and Fabrication.Can be from a manufacturing background with hands on experience in machining and fabrication.
- Engineering terminologies & process knowledge
- Good Negotiations and Analytical skills.
Understanding of Financial aspects/perspective to be able to discuss business with suppliers at macro level.
- Awareness of applicability of various taxations while buying from within and outside India.
- Techno commercial Knowledge of purchasing of items.
- Ability to network and have good interpersonal skills within the group company people and externally with suppliers.
- Good grasping of business model and translation into the requirements in terms of supply base.
- Operating knowledge of SAP related to purchasing.
- Operating knowledge of MS Office etc

Education & Experience:
DME - 5 to 6 Years / B.E. Mechanical - 3 to 4 Years.
