Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Qualified Accountant to join our Finance team. This role will be pivotal in ensuring accuracy, transparency, and timeliness of financial information while maintaining the highest standards of compliance, governance, and process control. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise to provide actionable insights and enable informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Performance Reporting & Month-End Closing
- Preparation of monthly performance reports, including profitability and key business metrics.
- Manage the month-end closing process, ensuring proper accruals, provisions, reconciliations, and adjustments.
- Implement controls to improve accuracy and reduce closing timelines.
- Management Reporting
- Prepare detailed management reports covering global sales performance, receivables ageing and collection status, and net working capital analysis.
- Present insights and trends to leadership, highlighting areas for operational and financial improvement.
- Statutory & Compliance Submissions
- Ensure timely submission of statutory returns, secretarial compliance documents, insurance schedules, and other mandated filings.
- Liaise with legal, company secretarial, and external consultants to ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Audited Financial Statements
- Preparation of standalone and consolidated audited financial statements in compliance with Indian GAAP/Ind AS and other applicable regulations.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure all schedules, notes, and disclosures are accurate and complete.
- Taxation & Audit
- Manage the timely completion of tax audits, transfer pricing audits, and preparation of corporate income tax returns.
- Oversee advance tax computations, stock audits, and compliance with regulatory filings such as FLA and APR.
- Drive closure of audit observations and implement preventive measures for future compliance.
- Interim & Periodic Financials
- Prepare interim financial statements for half-yearly and quarterly reporting cycles.
- Support group-level consolidation and provide timely financial data for global reporting requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Chartered Accountant (CA mandatory).
- Minimum 1–2 years of post-qualification experience in accounting, reporting and audit, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian GAAP or Accounting Standards (Ind AS), Companies Act, Income Tax and related statutory compliance.
- Experience in statutory & internal audit and taxation.
- Working experience SAP/Oracle or any ERP accounting system preferred
- Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency in financial analysis tools.
