Key Responsibilities (Satellite Markets):
- Handle day-to-day accounting activities related to Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL).
- Prepare Monthly MIS reports and ad hoc financial reports for management review and decision-making.
- Perform detailed scrutiny, analysis, and reconciliation of General Ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate and provide necessary information and support during Statutory, Tax, and Internal Audits.
- Assist in monthly and annual book closure activities, ensuring timely completion and compliance with accounting policies.
- Manage periodic updates of databases related to satellite companies, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and timely availability for reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities (Reporting/Budgeting/Forecasting):
- Adhere to the global reporting and month-end close calendar while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial data.
- Coordinate and support annual budgeting and forecasting activities for global entities.
- Liaise with various stakeholders to gather, compile, validate, and consolidate budget inputs.
- Perform monthly expense analysis to identify variances against budgets, support cost control initiatives, and provide management insights.
- Conduct monthly reviews of non-cleared items in SAP, identify pending transactions, coordinate with stakeholders for closure, and ensure appropriate accounting treatment.
- Prepare and analyze financial and operational reports to support business decision-making and performance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities (Trade Compliance, Anti-Dumping & Strategic Financial Analysis)
- Lead quarterly data compilation, validation, reconciliation, and analysis for SAS margin runs, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of submissions.
- Develop, implement, and monitor strategies to minimize anti-dumping duty exposure while maintaining compliance with applicable trade regulations.
- Proactively prepare for administrative reviews by ensuring readiness of financial data, supporting documentation, schedules, and reconciliations.
- Review and strengthen the accounting and reporting framework to align internal financial systems with the requirements and expectations of the U.S. Department of Commerce during anti-dumping investigations and reviews.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, legal advisors, and external consultants to ensure timely submission of accurate information and effective execution of mitigation strategies.
- Manage reciprocal tariff refund processes, including computation, validation of claims, customer-wise analysis, stakeholder communication, and resolution of refund-related queries.
- Monitor trade-related financial exposures and provide analytical insights to support business and compliance objectives.
- Prepare management reports and presentations on anti-dumping duties, tariff exposures, pricing impacts, and profitability analysis.
Key Responsibilities (Costing, Pricing & Profitability Analysis)
- Perform costing analysis for new manufacturing plants, including preparation, validation, and evaluation of product costing models.
- Analyze manufacturing costs and recommend improvements to enhance cost efficiency and profitability.
- Conduct pricing evaluations on a case-by-case basis by considering anti-dumping duty implications, reciprocal tariffs, and end-to-end profitability.
- Support commercial and business teams through detailed financial analysis and recommendations on pricing decisions.
- Assess the financial impact of pricing strategies, trade regulations, and tariff changes on business profitability while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities (New Projects):
- Assist in preparing and maintaining the authority level matrix for approvals and operations.
- Contribute to the setup and configuration of SAP elements such as Organization Structure, GL Accounts, and Cost Centers.
- Track and monitor expenses to ensure adherence to approved budgets.
- Coordinate and provide required information for setting up new projects, ensuring timely completion of setup activities.
Scope of Decision Making:
- Operates within established accounting principles, company policies, standardized practices, procedures, and reporting frameworks under general supervision.
- Resolves routine operational and accounting issues independently while escalating complex financial, regulatory, trade compliance, or commercial matters as appropriate.
- Exercises professional judgment in evaluating costing, profitability, pricing, anti-dumping duty exposure, and tariff recovery opportunities within approved authority limits.
- Recommends corrective actions and process improvements to strengthen financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and achievement of business objectives.
