Key Responsibilities:
1. Driving and Developing innovation and customised projects using best engineering principles and techniques
2.Project Management – encompassing Scope, Time, Cost & Documentation control for every project.
3. Using research, analytical, conceptual and planning skills, particularly mathematical modelling and computer-aided design.
4. Ensure compliance with laid down systems and procedures. Develop best-in-class processes.
5. Collaborate with Assembly, QA and Automation/Controls team to for successful implementation of customized and development projects
6.. Partner with customer/sales to understand requirement and if required involved in Techno commercial discussion with customer to convert potential enquiries into commercial orders.
7. Resolve technical challenges observed during assembly/in house validation to meet delivery commitments with use of problem solving techniques and SPQC tools.
8. Support aftermarkets and spares for resolution of challenges during installation, commissioning to ensure timely installation & commissioning.
9. Ensuring successful Beta validation of NPD projects.
10. Lead continuous improvement projects such as GMI, Derisking, Process simplification for design department.
Key Competencies (Functional):
1.Technically competent and proficient at understanding machines. Conversant with engineering practices, design, manufacturing and assembly.
2. Proficient knowledge of engineering concepts, Pneumatic and Basic electrical and electronics related to Machine building.
3. Understanding of Solid dosage formulation and its properties is preferred for efficient implementation in designs of Application engineering projects.
4. Working knowledge of 3-D modeling software (preferably Solid Edge / Solid Works). PLM software such as Team center is preferable.
5. Strong analytical & mathematical skills
6. Should have experience and approach towards Aesthetics, cost effectiveness, operator friendliness, safety standards implementation in design.
6. Project planning & costing capabilities.
7. Knowledge of SAP Design & MM module (preferable).
