  • FAT execution in coordination with CPT and the vendors
  • Supporting the installation and commissioning of process equipment, stabilization and commercialization
  • Execution of HCM checklist during installation and stabilization
  • On-job training and handholding to the associates/new joiners
  • Monitoring the results of improvements projects and CAPA
  • Achieve the technical KPI’s (Downtime, HFX, process loss) to achieve budgeted volume.
  • Implement Quality corrections (Dimension correction, moisture correction, process parameters) to minimize defects & achieve the target DAFOE
  • Ensures that all process parameters are in place for Colour Change (Checking of viscosity, temp, dip length, dip bath centrality and parallelists, Gelatine level)
  • Checks and ensures that the Viscosity norms are maintained whenever there is variation in weight & viscosity
  • SCADA monitoring for process parameters and take corrective actions in cases of deviation
  • Co- Ordination with CFT in case of colour change, machine tripping, break down, Machine downtime due to process parameters, cGMP and regulatory aspects
  • Control excess and short production to control inventory & improve DAFOE/OTDIF. Calculate and communicate the left-over dip quantity of running batch to Gel room chemist for their planning.
  • Ensure all the necessary Material for the shift is available
  • Communication of quality status to entire team to maintain consistent quality
  • Execute uncut camera/laser sensor teaching during colour change
  • Conduct daily shift opening meeting with team for shift planning
  • Shift handover and takeover
  • Daily shift Report generation and communication for shift performance (productivity etc.) to support HOD/In charge for decision making.
  • Monitoring and verifying all shift activities (Machine checking, IPQC (Dimensional and Attribute), FT change, DB change, Greaser Change, Colour change, daily machine performance report, process parameters,)

HCM Maintenance –

  • HCM Tripping analysis and corrections.
  • Execution of HCM scheduled activities and Preventive Maintenance.
  • Attend breakdowns if required need to stay back to cover the breakdowns.
  • Sub-assemblies Preparation -Auto heads, Greaser section, Pusher, Main Gear box etc.
  • Training new joiners on all above HCM maintenance activities
