Engineer Application Engineering, ACG Engineering

A. KEY RESPONSIBILITES :
Will be responsible for the design & development and application engineering for the business. He / she will have to comply with the systems, policies and procedures within the design function and will also be responsible for goals within the Business Unit.

C. KEY ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED (for fulfilling the responsibilities and meeting customer expectations).

• Developing projects using engineering principles and techniques
• Developing, testing and evaluating theoretical designs
• Designing and implementing cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety, reliability and throughput.
• Discussing and solving complex problems with manufacturing, vendors and customers
• Making sure a product can be made again reliably and will perform consistently in specified operating environments
• Recommending modifications following prototype test results
• Using research, analytical, conceptual and planning skills, particularly mathematical modelling and computer-aided design
• Considering the implications of issues such as cost, safety and time constraints while designing.
• Preparing Bill of Material
• Time, Cost & documentation control.
• Secrecy in projects.

D KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
Technical:
 Technically competent and proficient at understanding machines
 Very good knowledge of engineering concepts
 Working knowledge of solidedge / solidworks
 Strong analytical & mathematical skills
 Project planning & costing capabilities
 Knowledge of MS office applications (preferably also MS Projects)
 Knowledge of SAP Design module (preferable)
 Knowledge of Team center hands on to work with defined Workflows..

E SKILL, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications: BE Mechanical (mandatory) + Certification in Solid Edge / Solid Works (preferable)
Experience: 6 years work experience in designing capital equipment and SPM
Industry: Capital Equipment (preferably Pharma / Packaging Machinery)
