We have an opportunity in ACG Capsules for Assistant – EHS, Operations, Central.

  1. Job Objective
  • To act as the EHSS SME (central coordinator) for the capsules (India + International) HCM & Vantage unit.
  • To support the EHSS central/global function to develop & implement the EHSS policies and procedures across the value chain.
  • To promote and ensure effective EHSS operations across the ACG. 
  • To drive ESG (Environment Social Governance) initiatives across the ACG.
  1. Primary responsibilities

Strategic and planning

Functional

  • Collaborate with OPS/Plant EHSS leads to develop, prepare and implement the EHSS policies and Procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with National/International regulations and other requirements.
  • Provide technical & administrative support to ACG capsules central office.
  • Coordinate with projects and engineering team on the ESG initiatives projects.

Core

  • Document controllers for all the policies & procedures of the EHSS system and online EHSS platform (LEAP).
  • Coordinate the Integrated management System program across the OPS.
  • Centre point for EHSS data point and responsible for external sharing.
  • Support to prepare the EHSS dashboard and MIS reports.
  • Support on-site periodic inspection & audits as per the schedules.

People development

  • Conducts training to associates/EHSS leads on the EHSS awareness and standards.
  • Review the EHSS training trend and support to complete the identified gaps.
  • Lead the EHSS rewards & recognition program during the National safety week/day, World Environment day, Water day, Ozone day and Global Safety day.

****Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.

  • To reduce the recordable injury rate by 50%.
  • To complete the ESG initiatives as per the target lines.
  • To complete all the MIS and periodical submittal on-time-in-full (OTIF).
