Primary Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and verifying all daily production activities (RM Storage, Stock update, entire Process parameters, Viscosity reduction, maintaining safety norms, Intermediate and finished product and by product status.)
  • Implement Quality corrections (Recipe correction, moisture correction, process parameters) to minimize rejections & achieve the target Production in targeted time.
  • Ensures that all process parameters are in place for Reaction (Checking process parameters, temperature and pressure control), Viscosity control, recovery system, Incineration system, By product generation)
  • Checks and ensures that the Process, Viscosity, Recovery, Incineration norms are maintained whenever there is variation in above parameters
  • Continuous monitoring for process parameters and take corrective actions in cases of deviation.
  • Daily Production Report generation and communication for performance (productivity etc.) to support HOD/In charge for decision making.
  • 100% SAP entries of Entire Process and Downtime for that shift
  • Maintain record of Raw Material consumptions, Intermediate products, finished products, Recovery and waste generation.
  • Co- Ordination with production team in case of Parameter deviation, break down, Machine downtime due to process parameters, safety parameters cGMP and regulatory aspects.
  • Control excess and short production in order to control inventory & improve DAFOE/OTDIF. Calculate and communicate the production status, recovery status, waste status running batch planning for next batch.
  • Ensure all the necessary Material for the shift is available.
  • Communication of quality status to entire team to maintain consistent quality and safety.
  • Execute Recipe change for production, viscosity reduction, by product recovery, waste generation and safety.
  • Conduct daily plant opening meeting with team for production planning.
  • Ensure adherence of all daily/ weekly/fort nightly and monthly schedules, activities, and change schedules, production schedules to minimize breakdown & to improve quality
  • Ensure Trainings of SOP, Safety, cGMP and ensure effectiveness of it.
  • Ensure all status display boards are updated and maintained, HCM in process status labelling
  • Ensure adherence to change controls, deviations, incident reporting etc.
  • Investigation of customer complaint, root cause analysis, initiate and implementation of CAPA.
  • Appreciation of team members in case of any achievements, surpassing of targets, setting of new benchmarks (People Development)

    Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)

    • Implement and enforce stringent safety protocols for hazardous chemical handling and storage.
    • Promote a “Zero Incident” safety culture and lead root cause investigations for any incidents/near misses.
    • Ensure continued compliance with environmental and safety laws and regulations
    • Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.

  • Maintain Harmony on shop floor, cGMP, Audit facing, People development.
  • Achieve targets of DAFOE, OTDIF.
  • Control Reaction Runaway, Viscosity correction, efficient solvent recovery, waste generation - hence control Inventory.
  • Maintain 5’s, cGMP, Safety and cleanliness.
  • Report preparation and reporting, SAP entries for production and downtime.
