  1. Job Objective

 

  • Maintain in-shift machine continuity, quality of production and to reduce wastages
  • Maintain cGMP of 4 machines
  1. Primary responsibilities

 

Strategic Planning Activities:

Core:

  • Changing Feed tank and changing and filling dip bath during colour change and dipbath change.
  • Check capsules dimensions viz. Cut length, joint length, diameter, SWT, dome thickness, shoulder thickness, weights.
  • Checking & recording of Dimensions of each machine and informing the same to shift engineer and shift leads.
  • Effective IPQC and recording of same of each machine and inform the same to shift engineer and shift lead.
  • Handling and changing of dome wiper felt of lubrication unit.
  • Handling and changing of dipbath nylon filter on daily basis.
  • Assist line coordinators in numbering the capsules for defect identification.
  • Changing of peristaltic pipe, maintaining peristaltic pump lubrication condition.
  • Reporting of near miss, hazards, OPL's and kaizens.
  • Effective line clearance.
  • Maintains GMP and cleanliness of machine.

 

    Key Activities:

  • Plant associates will target to achieve budgeted DAFOE.
  • Plant associates will ensure online documentation (IPQC timing, Actual cutting & cake weight, Feed tank entry etc.) in line with cGMP requirements. (Regulatory, statutory, customer requirements)
  • Inform Solution room about feed tank requirement 20 min prior to feed tank change,
  • Accepts feed tanks after verifying viscosity, Batch No, Cap and Body, temperature, bubble free solution and expiry time from Solution room.
  • Change feed tank when 25 kg solution is left behind in tank.
  • Marks 'FTC on Down time sheet when feed tanks are changed.
  • Checks dip bath washing validity before filling as per SOP
  • Fills dip bath for colour change and dip bath change
  • Make entries in SAP to receive feed tanks from solution room, cakes and cutting shells.
  • Take charge of size changes and all activities related to it.
  • Maintains dip bath solution level
  • WCP tank water top up to be done in every 1 shift and as an when required.
  • The feed tank's location to be maintained on the shop floor as per AGV operational
  • requirements and gives call for new feed tank from panel provided near HCM and for colour change from Aprol.
  • Effective line clearance after colour change in stipulated time and maintains record duly signed as per SOPs
  • Maintain stationary stock in cupboard of IPQC book
  • Maintain stock of 300 mic dip bath filter and feed tank gelatine transfer pipe
  • Maintain 15 and 25 in department
  • Cleans machines on and around the machine every 2 hours as and when required
  • Sees to it that there is no capsule shells or any other part on ground near machine, near dimension table and near shell drum area
  • Does Minimum 6 IPQC checks if no color change activities or 4 IPQC checks (2000 capsules per sample) in case of two colour changes in the same group of machines. For any CRITICAL defects or abnormalities observed, immediate information to be given to the line coordinator and shift lead of Production. No compromise will be made in communicating the same with all the people concerned
  • Check powder stickiness while doing IPQC for DPI products
  • Operator who is extra in shift need to sort colour spot material available on machine, he needs to follow the instructions given by shift lead/ Supervisor, he needs to involve in cleaning activity in case of machine stoppage for PM/Size change/No Order and need to follow
  • All SOPs-GDP/cGMP/Data integrity/Safety to be strictly followed with ZERO discrepancy by everyone which also include line clearance activities
  • Cleans solution and oil spillage on HCM
  • Assist line coordinators in numbering the capsules for defect identification
  • Records work done during shift and hands charge to next shift Operator.
  • Additional machine/equipment cleaning activities to be performed in case of line stopped under "NO ORDER".
  • Need to attend and complete all mandatory training as per schedule shared without any follow-
  • To be aligned with upgrade in SOP and new SOP as per business requirements.
