· Execute energy saving and other improvement projects as per the plan to support departmental goal
1. Ensure zero breakdown on account of mechanical failures
- Ensure minimum downtime on Process equipment (HCM, mucilage preparation, ATS), utility equipment (water system, HVAC system, vacuum pump, air compressor, hot water generator/boiler, Kathabar, pumps, cooling tower etc.), HCM w.r.t. mechanicals to upkeep Process equipment / HCM by coordinating with Shift in-charge of departments
- Adhere to safety guidelines
- Conduct condition-based maintenance along with the mechanical and electrical works during machine shut down period
- Implement action plan for mitigating the problems of system /machine after analysis from logbooks/other functional team
- Update documentation related to maintenance and machine history cards
- Carryout machine routine health checks as per checklist for continuous operations of all HCMs and Utility equipment’s as per schedule.
- Carry out predictive / preventive maintenance by utilizing equipment / machine downtime
- Ensure availability of critical spares in ready to use condition to maintain plant up-time.
- Support other functions in execution of their departmental online improvement projects,
- Maintain cGMP standards in shopfloor
- Support reporting supervisor/Lead for preparation document related SOP, logbooks and formats
- Support Engineering team to achieve budgeted ECR
2. Execute capacity expansion and other improvement projects in the facility
- Support other functions in execution of their departmental projects
- Implement various energy saving projects to achieve budgeted ECR
- Support team to achieve cost control targets for repair and maintenance
- Support to implement the action plan for capacity improvement projects
Internal Process
- Submit daily & weekly monitoring report equipment log book and PM compliance data to supervisor/Lead
- Report any abnormality observed in equipment performance to Supervisor/ Lead for corrective actions
- Support Engineering team for statutory, customer audits and legal compliances
