- Planning, scheduling, coordinating and staffing of shift activities to meet the production targets and achieve the desired quality keeping safety as 1st priority.
- Line coordinator will be responsible for managing all the below shift activities for the 4 machines and 6 machines in case of D/N shift.

- Monitoring and verifying all shift activities (Machine checking, IPQC (Dimensional and Attribute), FT change, DB change, Greaser Change, Colour change, daily machine performance report, process parameters, schedule activities like blade change collet ring change, verify water addition rate and correct it if required, checking and setting pickup weights and maintain dry weight as per given specification).
- Effective weight control in order to maintain RSD below 2%.
- All activity performed on the machine should be recorded on the machine downtime sheet.
- 1S,2S to be maintained on shopfloor.
- Executing Quality corrections (Dimension correction, moisture correction, process parameters, defect troubleshooting) to minimize defects & achieve the target DAFOE and direct pass.
- Ensures that all process parameters are in place for Colour Change (Checking of viscosity, temp, dip length, dipbath centrality and parallelity, Gelatine level, application of nylon brush in case of dark to light colour change)
- Checks and correct the Viscosity norms whenever there is variation in weight & viscosity with the help of shift lead also gets the dipbath viscosity calibrated by mucilage team.
- Control and minimize hcm process losses and hfx by focusing on quality and timely quality corrections.
- APROL monitoring for process parameters and take corrective actions in cases of deviation
- Daily shift Report generation and SAP entry for shift performance (downtime and single process order confirmation).
- First time right colour change, right format filling, update HCM status board with special instructions and verify line clearance by call out method as per SOP.
- Co- Ordination with CFT in case of colour change, machine tripping’s, break down, Machine downtime due to process parameters, cGMP and regulatory aspects
- 100% Compliance to schedule activities
- Comply of CAPA given to internal & external Customers
- Control excess and short production in order to control inventory & improve DAFOE/OTDIF.
- Analysis of defects& tripping’s and taking timely qualitative actions.
- Ensure cGMP, GDP, GHP and Safety guidelines are followed inside the manufacturing premises.
- Monitor and log corrective action against the defects shown in RTBI dashboard to reduce rejection rate.
- Execute uncut camera/laser sensor teaching during colour change
- Shift handover and takeover
- Need to attend departmental Meetings whenever held.
- Working in cross functional Projects.
- Audit preparation
