  1. Job Objective
  • Coordination of activities within a shift at Post Production (ATS, Printing, Camera, Packing) to achieve AFOE@Despatch on shift basis with desired Quality
  • Shift lead will be responsible for managing all the above shift activities for the entire Hall/all machines.
  1. Primary responsibilities
  1. Strategic Planning Activities:

 

  • Monitoring and verifying all shift activities (Manning ,Execution of Post Production Planning ) for the allocated lines
  • Prepare shift machine performance report for the allocated lines to support HOD/Incharge for decision making
  • Implement Quality corrections (Ink Viscosity, Printing Operations , to minimize Printing defects & achieve the target AFOE@Despatch
  • Ensures that all requirements (Material, Condition) are in place for Colour Change
  • Monitor ATS Operation with Production and Quality
  • Check line clearance of ATS, Printing, Camera, FCS machines as per SOP
  • Monitors Print and Camera Process parameters to ensure desired quality is achieved
  • 100% SAP entries of Dips and counting, and printing confirmation and Downtime for that shift is to get right information from SAP
  • Supervise the color change with required cGMP and GDP requirements
  • Co- ordination with interfacing functions in case of colour change, Machine downtime to run Line efficiently with no backlog/WIP
  • Monitor and provide feedback to Production line WIP for batch cut off
  • Ensure all the necessary Material for the shift is available for Printing (Shift Plan, CC plan, MR,RR ,Spare availability ,ink ,clothes, IPA ,Packing material (Types of box, polybag , fractionated material etc) to ensure Line runs efficiently
  • Communicate Online rejection analysis (Attribute defects  to Production and Printing defects to Line operator) to maintain consistent quality
  • Wherever required execute Camera teaching and challenge  test in presence of QC
  • Ensure proper SOP is followed, with cGMP and Regulatory guidelines  for  regular and Audit compliance
  • CAPA or complaints is to be communicated to associates in meetings to prevent it for next supply
  • Implementation of continuous improvement actions which are reviewed by Section head for future smooth operations
  • Optimize consumption of consumable and non-consumable to reduce losses
  • Training of operators for multi-skilling for people development.
  • People Development – Contract training/down the line as required. Interview process for down the line jointly with the Team lead
    1. Highlighting of internal stranger complaints in regular meetings to ensure no future failure occurs
