Primary Responsibilities

Quality Control
 Ensure compliance to all laid down SoP and Work Instructions.
 Resolution of internal and external customer quality issues.
 Review of product/process non-conformity along with concerned production team to find out cause of the
issue.
 Ensure compliance of CTQ requirements to eliminate repeat complaints from critical customers.
 Supporting the development of OHS policies and programs.
 Advising and instructing on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery etc.)
 Ensure timely preparation of departmental MIS report.
 Ensure timely feedback to concerned stakeholders in case of any issues to avoid delay in dispatch.
 Analyze Customer complaints as per laid down SoP with available internal and external information.
 Ensure all laid down Sop and WI followed by QA/QC team to achieve consistent product quality.
 Ensuring manning of quality personnel on the shop floor as per the requirement.
 Review of quality reports for the compliance against the laid down quality plans
 Provide inputs to production team to improve process capability by reducing process variability and
improving process controls.
Safety Officer
 Support the development of Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) policies and programs.
 Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation.
 Initiate and organize OHS training of associates and executives.
 Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g., not using protective
equipment)
 Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc.

Key Result Areas

  • Eliminate customer complaint in shift for any quality/technical reason.
  • Eliminate deviations in shift (SAP entry, roll stamping, red card clearance, documentation, GMP practices on shop floor).
  • Monitor and devise action plan along with production team to achieve reduction in COPQ as per Business requirement.
  • Ensure order processing of customers as per Sales Order and Critical to Quality (CTQ).
  • Prepare Monthly Information System (MIS) report for the deviations observed along with the action plan which includes the CAPA effectiveness submitted against the internal rejection.
