We have an opportunity in ACG Engineering for a Lead NPD Sourcing.

 

  1. Job Objective

This position involves end-to-end responsibility for sourcing, negotiating competitive terms with supplie monitoring procurement timelines, and ensuring the timely delivery of all project-related equipment/accessor /peripherals, etc.

  1. Primary responsibilities

Strategic and planning

Managing end to end sourcing of Capex items such as de-dusters, scrubbers, blenders, lifters, AHU, Silos, and other specialized machinery. Selecting correct supplier, & ensuring Quality , Delivery & Cost.

Functional

Understanding Scope from the customer side with the help of Project Management

Identifying Suppliers

Evaluating the technical proposals

Understanding the interfaces with our machines

Ensure documentation availability as per ACG documentation standards

Understanding and finalizing I&C responsibilities

Spare list and spare manual from vendor

Negotiation with Suppliers

Internal process

Standardization of the BO items based on standard inquiries with the help of AE & A&C team Optimization of supplies – single supplier for the whole assembly

Cost Optimization for current supplies based on aggregating features

Identifying and evaluating alternate vendors

Identifying and evaluating alternate technologies

 

People development

Contribute towards development of talent for the department by providing subordinates with adequate exposure and growth opportunities to enable readiness for higher roles
