Lead - Heat and Surface Treatment

Primary Responsibilities

Strategic and planning
•    Developing detailed layouts for equipment, processes, and workflow
•    Developing and implementing cost-saving measures and quality control systems.
•    Ensuring Plating processes, equipment, and products comply with safety standards and legal regulations.
•    Prepare capex /consumable /manpower budgeting and seek necessary approvals.
•    Define Strategic stocking of process chemicals.
•    Safe working conditions.  

•    Evaluating existing surface treatment processes and identifying areas for improvement.
•    Researching and developing new processes, equipment, and products
•    supervise junior engineers and sub-contractors and ensure effective communication in order to avoid errors
•    organise plant start-up and shut-down schedules to ensure minimum loss of production time and profits
•    keep statistical and financial records and work with finance to manage budgets
•    Create processes and procedures to help the company meet budgetary goals as well as performance quotas
•    Participate in brainstorming sessions and cross-departmental meetings to ensure planned schedule completion 
•    Develop alternative methods of making production more efficient and cost effective.
•    Review quality standards of each product to make sure there are no problems
•    Maintain all company equipment in top working condition by scheduling all repairs
•    Generate an accurate database of all production details
•    Identify opportunities to prevent waste and inefficiency in production
•    Prepare & monitor budget 
•    Preparing training MIS 
•    Compliance with ISO standards.
•    Responsible for surface treatment parts delivery and production.
•    Coordinate with customer/ppc for urgency.
•    Timely planning of plant maintains activity
•    Effective use of manpower and optimization
•    6s implementation at shop
•    Root cause analysis in case of rework rejection and do necessary action in the form of process and work instruction
•    Implement CAPA or rejection rework
•    Over time optimization

•    Sap Training.
•    Power point presentation.
•    Industries best practises.

Educational and Experience Requirements
