Primary Responsibilities
1. Ensure zero breakdown on account of mechanical failures
• Ensure minimum downtime on Process equipment (HCM, mucilage preparation, ATS), utility equipment (water system, HVAC system, vacuum pump, air compressor, hot water generator/boiler, Kathabar, pumps, cooling tower etc.), HCM w.r.t. mechanicals to upkeep Process equipment / HCM by coordinating with Shift in-charge of departments
• Adhere to safety guidelines
• Carry out corrective actions to reduce the capsule defects in coordination with Production
• Conduct condition-based maintenance along with the mechanical and electrical works
• Implementation of Schemes for mitigating the problems into system /Machine after analysis from logbooks
• Maintain documentation related to maintenance and machine history cards
• Carryout machine health check-up for continuous operations of all HCMs and Utility equipment’s as per schedule.
• Carry out predictive / preventive maintenance by utilizing equipment / machine downtime and record.
• Ensure availability of critical spares in ready to use condition to maintain plant up-time.
• Support other user functions in execution of their departmental online improvemental projects,
• To achieve best housekeeping ,1S/2Sand cGMP standards.
• Support to lead of function for preparation document related SOP, logbooks and formats.
2. Energy Conservation
• Execution of various energy saving projects to achieve budgeted ECR
• Energy Conservation activities to reduce energy cost.
3. Control Utilities downtime within planned limits.
• Support to lead function for completing mechanical maintenance as per schedule.
• Maintenance shall be ensured as per SOP and safety guidelines
• Ensure availability of critical spares in ready to use condition to maintain plant up-time
• Ensure proper documentation, update records and history cards of machine / equipment’s.
4. Organization Development through systems
• Monitoring health parameters of equipment/components for their lifecycle analysis
• Monitor operational performance of Utility equipment / HCM and propose for energy efficient equipment/machineries, wherever required
• Adherence to c-GMP, regulatory & statutory compliances, TPM and other applicable norms
Internal Process
• Submit daily & weekly monitoring report for energy consumption and equipment logbook to shift In-charge.
• Submit PM compliance report on daily basis to Shift In-charge of function
